					  <title>Planning A Baby Shower</title>
					  <link>http://www.weddingpartyhelp.com/Articles/articles/36/1/Planning-A-Baby-Shower.html</link>
<description>If someone you know is having a baby, there may very well be a baby shower in your future.&#160; Filled with friends, games and laughter, a baby shower is a celebration preparing to welcome a new life into the world.&#160; The mom-to-be is full of hope and joy while her friends and family anxiously await the new arrival.&#160; &#160; When you have chosen a date for the baby shower, you may begin to send out the invitations.&#160; If you are planning the baby shower as a surprise, you may have to speak with close family members to get a list of the new mom's friends.&#160; You will want to be sure and invite all family and friends, so an accurate contact list is very important.&#160; Most planners schedule the baby shower for the evening hours so that everyone can attend, including those who work or are enrolled in school.&#160; &#160; If you are planning a baby shower, you will want to make it a very special event with plenty of balloons, decorations and games.&#160; Typically, everyone gathered at a baby shower will play one or more games throughout the course of an evening.&#160; The winner will get a nice little prize, which may be a knick knack, household item or beauty product.&#160; This is a wonderful way to share the fun with guests as they join in one the games.&#160; While you are planning the perfect baby shower, don't forget the catering.&#160; You will want to have a nice selection of food, including cookies, cake, soft drinks and other tasty treats for the guests to nibble on during the party. &#160; Of course, the mom-to-be will be showered with gifts at some point in the evening.&#160; Until then, all of the gifts should be placed on a large table inside the room.&#160; If possible, ask the soon to be mom if she would like to pose for a photo, with her gifts, before opening them.&#160; As she starts to peek inside the packages, snap a few photos as she reveals what's inside.&#160; These photos will serve as wonderful memories as the years go by. &#160; After the party is over, be sure to have all photos developed.&#160; It may be a nice idea to make a little scrapbook for the new mom so that she will remember all of the special people who made her baby shower so special.&#160; A scrapbook kit, along with the photos that you have taken and some well-wishes written by guests of the baby shower will be treasured for years to come.</description>
