					  <title>Wedding &#38; Honeymoon Locations</title>
					  <link>http://www.weddingpartyhelp.com/Articles/articles/20/1/Wedding--Honeymoon-Locations.html</link>
<description>A wedding is one of the most important events in a lifetime. It will be remembered in thoughts, as well as photos. A wedding location should reflect on the couple and their ideal day. Perhaps it was the first place they met, a dreamy resort or a quiet country church ceremony that holds a special place in the hearts of the soon-to-be bride and groom. Choosing a wedding location requires the couple to develop a mental picture of their what they desire for their wedding. Will it be casual or formal? Will there be a large number of guests or will it be a very intimate ceremony with only a few close family and friends? Budget is another important consideration because most locations require a fee and, depending on the level of extravagance, those fees can add up quick.A wedding should be a creative effort of the bride and groom to say "I do" in a way that they will remember for the rest of their lives. When choosing a location, consider the number of guests that will be attending, the seating options and availability and surroundings. For example, if either the bride or groom have allergies, an outside ceremony may not be the way to go. Outdoor weddings are beautiful, but can present a problem if the weather is not accommodating. If an outside wedding is chosen, always have an alternate plan just incase Mother Nature doesn't cooperate.Traditional wedding ceremonies are held in a church or chapel with receptions held at various locations. However, more and more couples are exchanging vows in unique ways. From exotic beach locations to hot air balloons, many are saying "I do" to a whole new tradition of ceremonies. When selecting a location, call the local tourism center for information on the area. Check out the local resorts, which usually offer elegant wedding packages. This is true of almost any resort, but is especially the case on a popular beach or island destination. In addition, the internet offers a wonderful variety of information on location planning.Depending on the wedding location that is ultimately chosen, advanced reservations or permission may re required in order to make your special day happen. If you decide to exchange vows in a park setting, permission will need to be acquired from the owners. In addition, a deposit is usually required in order to hold a reservation. Often times, popular wedding locations book up a year in advance, so the sooner you start making arrangements, the better chance you will have of securing that special spot. Most couples plan their wedding for 6-12 months, so it's a good idea to get started early. As a final thought, many couples opt for a wedding and honeymoon combo location. If you have the perfect honeymoon spot already chosen, why not exchange vows there as well? Before making a final decision, be sure to inquire about the facility's cancellation policy, adequate restroom facilities, parking options for wedding guests, additional charges for overtime, schedule changes or other unexpected instances.
